Working for the right school makes a difference in how you approach your professional goals. We wish to work with talented educators during their job search to streamline communication between them and schools. We offer an online interface that allows you to develop a free profile that is then presented to schools. We work closely with schools and candidates to establish strong matches that meet both entity’s needs.

Who We Recruit

Independent Placements is committed to recruiting highly talented educators who are invested in producing high quality education and exhibit strong leadership within their school community. All candidates who wish to register with our site must possess a Bachelors degree; Masters degrees preferred. Candidates must also have  a strong academic background and field experience in the area they are interested in applying to. Many of the positions listed with our site require New York State Teaching or Administrative Certification; therefore, we encourage applicants to possess these documents as they support their candidacy for any given position. Please note that there are schools that list positions that do not require certification. We also require that candidates have a minimum of two years of experience working in schools, unless they are applying for an entry level position.

How to Register

To register click on the link below. Please note that you must submit a PDF copy of your resume, a cover letter, and three references. Candidates may also submit letters of references and transcripts. Once we review your materials and feel you meet the credentials we are looking for in candidates, we will contact you to schedule an interview. When your profile and interview have been completed, we will then follow up with schools to present your candidacy. Unfortunately, not all applicants will be placed as they might not fit the credentials for a given vacancy or we might not have a vacancy that they inquire about.
